On February 17, 2021, Cendyn, the frontrunner in delivering cloud software and digital marketing services for the hospitality sector, and NextGuest, a CRM and digital marketing leader based out of New York and Munich, merged under the Cendyn brand to become the largest scalable CRM and digital marketing vendor for the hospitality sector.

The union between the digitally-savvy entities further expands Cendyn’s global reach as it aids hoteliers’ direct demand and revenue performance by enhancing every touchpoint of the guest journey via automation and data intelligence.

Combining the industry experience and expertise of both the companies, which are second to none, enables them to provide global scale, unparallel CRM, and digital marketing facilities in the hospitality spectrum.

Experts take on the merger

The new entity’s clientele includes Hyatt, Outrigger Hotels and amp; Resorts, Jumeirah Resorts, Marriott, Rosewood Hotels and amp; Resorts, Onyx Hospitality Group, and Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels, Margaritaville Hotels and amp; Resorts, Hilton, IHG, and Event Hospitality and amp; Entertainment.

Hierarchy post the merger

Cendyn, the parent company, will be led by Tim Sullivan as the President and CEO. The senior leadership team will have Paolo Torchio from NextGuest in a Chief Strategy Officer’s role.

Paolo holds strong experience and expertise in the industry, including his previous roles at Two Roads Hospitality, Sabre, and Hyatt.

On the business front, Paolo will head the integration of the businesses and product portfolio strategy.

Additionally, Dieter Dirnberger will operate as the Managing Director of EMEA, and Toshi Rogers will lead the global account team.
